The Inspector Geiger Connect the Dots game is one of several games and puzzles in the CNSC’s educational resources aimed at students aged 7–11. The aim of the game is to connect dots to form a picture.
In the interactive version of the puzzle, the player starts off with a black and white partial sketch of someone. Around the sketch is a series of dots numbered from 1 to 71. A small cartoon character at the top of the page tells the player to click the dots in the proper order to draw the picture. Each time the player clicks correctly, a line pops up, connecting the new dot to the last one.
When the player has connected all the dots, the completed picture appears. It’s Inspector Geiger! He’s the cartoon character who guides students through the different CNSC educational resources pages. A message reads “Congratulations!”
The final image shows two thumbs up as a sign of victory to let the player know that they are well on their way to becoming a junior nuclear safety representative. The time it took, in minutes and seconds, to solve the puzzle also appears. Each student can type in their name and print the results to hand in to the teacher.
